The Pub

At the Kingfisher our aim is to produce the best quality dishes with the lowest food miles. Our meat travels under 15 miles from farm to plate and our fruit is delivered from just a mile away. It doesn’t stop there… we’ve also found delightful wines from Warden Abbey Vineyard and guest ales from Bedfordshire and surrounding counties.

As the nights draw in, and temperatures drop, relax in the pub with a roaring fire and hearty dishes! Make the most of the winter riverside views from the inside with a cosy table in the library, plush chairs and fabulous décor!

Since the launch of our new menu this year, we have been very grateful with the amazing feedback on the new dishes and the most popular dish is…. fish of the day… delicious.

We were formerly known as The Barns Hotel but after some extensive flood damage, we closed and re-opened as The Kingfisher pub with rooms.

We’re home to 49 bedrooms and The Tithe Barn, a wedding and events venue.

Situated along the River Great Ouse, we have the best riverside terrace in town and superb food to match.

Did we mention we’re dog-friendly too?!
