The Kingfisher Karnival

Saturday 10th August – 12noon – late!

Join us riverside for a day of family fun!

We’ve got live music on The Jetty starting from 12noon and then a disco in the evening starting from 8pm along with a host of other activities including:

  • Wycomb Pastures Mobile Farm (£2.50 per child)
  • Bouncy castles from Bedfordshire Inflatables (£5 unlimited wristband for any castle all day)
  • John Bunyan boat trips (30 minute cruises £7 per adult, £4 5-18 years and under 5’s go free)
  • Mini market in the Tithe Barn
  • BBQ

We’ll also have a tin can alley, coconut shy and raffle with proceeds in aid of our chosen charity this year – Blues Foundation.

This event is FREE entry so no tickets required!

Outside dining is offered on a first come first served basis. Alternatively book a table to dine inside.

Paddle Boarding with Heron and Hush

Come and enjoy the enchanting beauty of The River Great Ouse with a Paddleboarding Lesson and sample some delicious dining at The Kingfisher Riverside pub.

Packages include a 90 minute Paddleboarding session, instructed and led by an experienced and fully qualified Paddleboard Instructor. Learn effective paddle stroke and SUP safety on the jetty before you set off with Lesley, your friendly Instructor, for a tour along The River Great Ouse, the jewel in Bedford’s crown.

Sit on the terrace or in the cosy dining room and enjoy a choice of quintessential Afternoon Tea or two course meal to accompany your riverside experience.

Friday Night Live

Throughout The Summer

Join us on Friday nights with live music this summer. Performing from 6-9pm we have a range of artists joining us to help you kick off the weekend.

We’ll be out on The Jetty (weather permitting) simply come along to enjoy a drink or a bite to eat and revel in the music.

This is a free event so no tickets are required.
